As we enjoy Christmas this year..... Sea levels are rising, glaciers retreating, Arctic ice disappearing, Alaskan permafrost melting, tropics expanding, trees growing higher and higher up the sides of mountains. Carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas is accumulating in the atmosphere. Greenhouse gases warm the atmosphere. Huge changes in weather can be expected and their affects already being seen. Using a combination of observation, modeling studies and direct measurement since the 1970's other explanations for global warming have been ruled out.
At this '11th hour', may Copenhagen give mankind a future...
